Australian rock history to screen in the UK

29th January 2016

The top rating documentary Blood & Thunder: The Sound of Alberts is to be shown in February on the BBC.

The documentary tells the story behind the legendary music company that laid the foundations behind AC/DC. It’s a tale of two families – the Alberts and the Youngs – who formed a bond to produce an Australian sound that would conquer the world.

Screened last year on ABC TV as 2 x 1 hours, it will be shown in a reversioned one hour program on BBC 4 and is narrated by Colin Hay, former lead singer of top 80’s band Men At Work.
