Sydney/London, 8 July. Beyond has appointed Fiona Crago as General Manager of Beyond Distribution, it was announced today by Group CEO Mikael Borglund.
Formerly the General Manager of Business and Legal at Beyond International Limited, Fiona's new role, based in Sydney, is effective immediately. She replaces Liliana Lombardero, who has left the company.
Borglund commented, "With more than six years experience in business affairs at Beyond, Fiona has been an integral part of the company's finance, eal-making and acquisitions team. She has been widely exposed to the business of the company, on both the sales and acquisitions sides, and has the in-depth experience to expand Beyond’s international television sales business."
Crago will report to Borglund and manage an experienced team of international sales executives based in Sydney, London and New York. Her first initiative as General Manager is the promotion of company veteran of ten years, Munia Kanna, to Head of Sales.
Previously VP, International Sales for Asia/Pacific/Sth.Africa, Munia will continue to be based in Beyond's Sydney office.
Crago commented, "I am delighted to appoint Munia to this new position. Her contribution to our sales efforts over the past years has been huge. As Head of Sales she will use her extensive knowledge of both the distribution business and Beyond's extensive programming catalogue to develop our international teams' ability to increase sales."
