Australia doesn't celebrate Christmas with snow - they do lights! Matthew Hayden takes us on a journey to find Australia's most spectacular and innovative Christmas lights. He will be helping one street achieve its ambition to become one of the best Christmas light displays in the country. Following in the footsteps of his parents, some 20 years earlier, Laurence McGinty has been trying to harness the community spirit of his quiet suburban street to ensure it transforms on time into a spectacular Christmas wonderland. This year he is going all out to put the street on the Christmas map. Matthew will also be unearthing some of the most spectacular and dramatic displays across the country - from the latest in computer-controlled equipment and synchronised music to the set up of a chimney emitting fire and smoke.
