I Could Do That!
I Could Do That! is a 13-part half-hour series that allows the audience to get their hands dirty at the controls of machines they've always admired from afar. I Could Do That! introduces the viewer to the way machines work through the people who work them. Have you ever wanted to put on a pair of steel-toed boots, march over to a construction site and hoist a crane? Or is the life of a tugboat captain more up your alley? Now's your chance to take the plunge and get down and dirty with the big machines that make the world go round.These machines can destroy a building or take a life in the blink of an eye, putting our participants into precarious situations. While the machines are varied, the story is consistent. The participants go through a 7-day boot camp filled with hands-on machine time in a school setting. Finally, the participant gets a chance to use their skills in the real world. Whether it's operating a tugboat in a busy harbour, or working the tower crane on an active construction site, this woo hoo moment is what the participant and audience are waiting for. Each act ends with a crucial test taken right from real-world training. I Could Do That! is a new way to get inside big machines. By discovering what it takes to work these beasts our viewers take home an inside look at the machines our participants dream of conquering.
