Beyond success at MIPCOM audiovisual tradeshow

October 25th, 2005: Beyond Distribution (the finished television program sales division of Beyond International Limited [ASX:BYI]) has had its most successful first four months of trading in over five years.

Following on from the recent sales of Mythbusters to the BBC and SBS (Australia) Beyond has just concluded a successful week at the MIPCOM audiovisual trade show in Cannes.

Beyond Tomorrow was launched to the international broadcast market at MIPCOM following its Australian premiere in June 2005 on the Seven Network. The series has now been licensed throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America and the important North American market. Beyond also secured sales for New MacDonalds’ Farm and Backyard Science in addition to exploiting it's television program catalogue of close to 4000 hours of programming throughout the world.

Beyond Distribution is trading in excess of budget for the four month period to date and the management are in the process of concluding a number of significant sales following MIPCOM. This improvement in performance is driven by an increasing local and international demand for long running factual programs such as Beyond Tomorrow and Mythbusters.
