October 10th, 2007: You may already be aware that in the past few weeks the board of Beyond has received two offers from third parties (Mariner Financial Limited & Navis Media Pty Ltd) to acquire all of the shares in Beyond. At the present time the Beyond board unanimously recommends that Beyond shareholders reject the Mariner offer on its current terms.
