Beyond International Limited (ASX: BYI) has significantly increased its production orders from overseas broadcasters despite the strengthening of the Australian currency over the 2004 financial year. The Company has concluded the terms for the production and international distribution of five non-fiction television series. The consolidated production revenue for the twelve months to the 30th June 2004 will be approximately $54,000,000 compared with $27,750,000 in the 2003 financial year, an increase of 96%.
The total production slate is made up of 224.5 hours of programs to be delivered in 2004 as follows:
a. 122.5 hours of non fiction programs for US and UK based broadcasters (eg. Mythbusters)
b. 41 hours of adult drama series (Stingers series 7 and 8);
c. 32 hours of non-fiction programs for the Australian broadcasters (eg. Hot Property/Auctions)
d. 12 hours of children’s’ drama series (Silver Sun);
e. 12 hours of pre school series (New McDonald’s Farm); and
f. 5 hours of television movies and mini series (eg. Through My Eyes).

The five non-fiction series have all been ordered from US and UK based broadcasters and will generate revenues of approximately $15,000,000 of which 48% will be accounted for in the 2004 financial year, with the balance brought to account in the 2005 financial year.
The Company has already secured substantial production commitments for the 2005 financial year. Management expects to conclude additional production agreements for the 2005 year in the near future.
The Company expects to achieve the previously announced projected pre tax operating profit of between $2.7 million and $3 million for the 12 months to 30th June 2004.
