Beyond establishes Development and Production office in Los Angeles

August 26th, 2008: Beyond International Limited (ASX: BYI) is establishing a television development and production office in Los Angeles from September 2008 in addition to its existing U.S production offices in San Francisco and Bethesda, Maryland.

Beyond has been a successful program producer for U.S broadcasters since 1987 and is currently producing a number of series in the US including Mythbusters, Prototype This and Taboo.

To accelerate growth of its business in the U.S Donna Harrison has been appointed as the Chief Creative Officer of the new LA base. She will be responsible for the adaptation of existing Beyond formats for US broadcasters as well as developing and selling new programs for commissioning by LA based broadcasters in conjunction with The William Morris Agency.

An experienced broadcast and production executive, Donna most recently worked as the Senior Vice President, Programming of Tribune Entertainment. She has also held senior programming and production positions at The Fox Health Network, CBS Television, Paramount Studios, Lifetime Television, and the Fox Television Stations.
