The filmmakers interview economists, advocates, political leaders, union members, entrepreneurs and everyday Americans in towns that are thriving and others that aren't doing so well. The duo abides by two rules while on the road: 1) No interstates: they can only travel on secondary highways and country roads; and 2) No business with corporate chains. They can only do business with Mom & Pop-owned businesses. This intriguing and thought-provoking documentary encourages consumers to think hard about where they spend their hard earned dollars.
