SEX: THE REVOLUTION

This is the story of the sexual revolution and how it changed the world - a time in our history that challenged centuries of traditional morality about sex. A time that eradicated people's fear, loathing and ignorance about sex. A time that promoted unprecedented sexual honesty and expression. And in the end, a time when laws were changed and rulings made to end censorship and legal retribution for people's private sexual behaviour. This documentary explores the AIDS epidemic, Hef, Kinsey, Little Richard, the Pill, Sex, Drugs & Rock and Roll, Make Love Not War, Swinging, Burn the Bra, Stonewall, Deep Throat, Forty Second Street, Plato's Retreat, Hustler, Herpes and Reagan -- and oh, so much more… It's a story of incredible styles, scenes, visionaries who pushed the envelope, movements, fanatics, charlatans-but also the story of the people of traditional values who felt threatened by it all, who condemned it and launched a counter-revolution.

SPERM WARS

Sperm trying to fertilise an egg…..it's a battle where only the strongest will succeed.
It's been suggested that the 21st century man is, reproductively speaking, only half the man his grandfather was! Cell phones, laptops, tight underwear, drinking too much alcohol, prescription drugs, and even chemicals in the food we eat have all been implicated in studies suggesting that male fertility rates are dropping. But just how much of this are we to believe? Could modern living really be threatening the survival of our species? By understanding more about sperm we can give them a fighting chance. Sperm Wars is an entertaining guide to all that is good, bad and deadly for sperm. We test some of the popular theories on why sperm rates are dropping. With the help of three virile young men we put underwear, laptops and even sitting postures to the test and explore what can be done when your sperm just doesn't measure up, giving us a vivid view of the male perspective of infertility.

SUICIDE TOURIST, THE

The controversy over a person's right to die at a time and place of their own choosing has become focused on the Swiss organization Dignitas. Dignitas, in Zurich Switzerland, is the only place where a person seeking an assisted suicide can legally be helped to die, no matter where they are from - or what their state of health or what their state of health, as long their wish to die has been held for or over a significant period of time. Craig Ewert, a 59-year-old American with motor-neuron disease, has been a radical since his college days in the sixties, and is determined not to live through his steady deterioration until what he fears may be a horrific “natural” death. Should Craig Ewert be able to kill himself, even though it could be years before his disease would kill him? The Suicide Tourist helps you decide for yourself. For a year, Oscar-winning director John Zaritsky had exclusive access to Dignitas, and its clients. Through the intimate, compelling, and controversial stories of four lives - and one death - The Suicide Tourist will take the audience on a journey they could only have imagined, and won't forget.
