All around the globe, coral reefs are losing their wonderful colours due to global warming. Bunaken in Indonesia remains a miraculous exception. These islands, lying off the northern tip of Sulawesi, rival a painter’s palette in the splendid array of colours seen in the reefs. This healthy and diverse community probably has more species of coral than in the majority of other coraline areas of the world.
