WORLDWIDE DRAMA SALES FOR BEYOND DISTRIBUTION

London, 2 June 2003 – Beyond Distribution has posted strong drama sales for the spring, it was announced today by Véronique Verges, Beyond’s Vice President Sales Western Europe.

Flagship drama series STINGERS led the way with global sales including AB Droits renewing two seasons for France and all other French speaking territories in Europe and Africa. STINGERS also continues to be a huge success in Norway, where Series Five is currently the top rating show in its slot each week with an average market share of 55.3%.

The Czech and Slovak Republics have jumped on the STINGERS bandwagon, with the first four series of the programme premiering in both territories later this year. Series five and six of the show have also been sold to SABC South Africa in a package deal together with 28 hours of GOOD GUYS, BAD GUYS and 12 xxx (one hour?) telemovies from the popular HALIFAX strand.

HALIFAX is also performing strongly in The Netherlands, where RTL4 are buying re-runs of the series.
