Following the harrowing ordeal of 100 elephants saved from certain death, these African giants are raised in captivity in Zimbabwe where they are rehabilitated in order to return to the wild. A demanding but humorous process, a handful of farmers and safari operators confounded the critics when they proved how gentle and highly intelligent African elephants truly are. This moving documentary highlights the ongoing tragedy of Zimbabwe's wild elephant herds and the special relationship between people and animals.
