STINGERS CONTINUES ITS RATINGS SUCCESS

STINGERS is inspired by the extraordinary career of Guy Wilding, a former undercover officer. He has worked closely with the scriptwriters recounting his true-life experiences and providing a rare insight into the secrets of Australian law enforcement.
Debuting in 1998, ratings winner STINGERS is produced by Nine Films & Television and Beyond Simpson Le Mesurier and stars Peter Phelps, Gary Sweet, Kate Kendall and Rebecca Gibney. Producer John Wild says the seventh season mixes exciting police stories with engaging character journeys. "The cast enjoy the challenge of juggling their core characters with the weekly demand of adopting criminal personas," says Wild.
The series has been sold to a host of territories around the world including France, South Africa, New Zealand, Denmark, Poland, Netherlands, Turkey and Egypt. NRK Norway have just committed to the next series of STINGERS, with Series 5 currently continuing to rate #1 in their Friday night timeslot on NRK1.
