London, 22nd June, 2004 – Beyond Distribution has racked up a number of sales to Eastern Europe on the eve of DISCOP 2004.

STINGERS (192 x 60’), Beyond’s most successful and longest running drama series, continues to achieve enormous ratings success in Australia and has an eighth series currently in production. Consistently achieving over 4 million viewers nationally per week and a 27% share of the market in its prime-time slot, STINGERS delves into the secretive lives and loves of undercover police. Viasat Hungaria has licenced series 5 and 6 of the series and New Romanian action channel Action + has snapped up the first two series as well as action drama FIRE (26 x 60’).
WILDTECH (7 x 60’) puts an amazing spin on science by meshing the natural world with man-made environments to produce a whole new perspective on technology. The innovative series has proven popular with sales to Spektrum RT and Programova Spolecnost.
Feature films and telemovies are in demand with TVP One/Poland licencing thriller feature THE VECTOR FILE starring Casper Van Dien (Starship Troopers, Sleepy Hollow) and directed by Chris Graves (Xena Warrior Princess), and court drama telemovie MARRIAGE ACTS.
