Beyond Establishes International Sales and Marketing Head Office in Ireland
Beyond International Limited (ASX: BYI) has established its head office for multinational activities in Dublin.
Ireland has been chosen due to its stable economic/political environment, its geographical proximity to neighbouring European Union nations and its sophisticated telecommunications infrastructure.
Two new companies have been incorporated in Ireland. Beyond Entertainment Holdings Limited (BEHL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Beyond International Limited. The trading company is Beyond Entertainment Limited (BEL) which is a wholly owned subsidiary of BEHL.
BEL is responsible for the acquisition and international sales of all television programs (Beyond Distribution) and feature films (Beyond Films). BEL will manage and direct the sales and marketing activities of the offices located in London, New York and Sydney.
Michael Murphy has been appointed a Director of BEHL and BEL. Michael was the former Director of Programmes at TV3 Ireland, Director of Content at Yes TV & Director of Digital Television at Eircom Group plc and brings over twenty years of experience in the international entertainment business to BEL.
Munia Kanna (Head of Sales and Acquisitions) will relocate from Sydney to the head office in Dublin. Hilary Davis (Head of Sales - Beyond Films) will continue in her present role based in London as will Fiona Crago (General Manager - Beyond Distribution) based in Sydney.
