Sydney 4th November, 2004 – Beyond’s longest running drama series, STINGERS (produced by Beyond Simpson Le Mesurier), has received the most prestigious drama award in Australia: the Australian Film Institute (AFI) Award for Best Television Drama Series.
The series continued its winning streak, also recently being awarded a screenwriting prize at the Australian Writers Guild Awards for a 2004 season episode.
Now in its eighth season, STINGERS continues to achieve ratings success and consistently rates a 27% share of the market in its Australian slot.
