Sydney, 10th March 2005 – Beyond Distribution is proud to announce their appointment as distributor of the prestigious Dorling Kindersley titles previously distributed by Penguin Television.
Among the titles, which will be brought to MIPtv 2005, is a large selection of quality children’s programming including:
P.B BEAR AND FRIENDS (30 x 5 minutes or 6 x 30 minutes), a series set in an animated fantasy world packed with wonderful adventures and exciting make-believe games; DIG AND DUG WITH DAISY (16 x 10 minutes or 4 x 40 minutes), featuring two loveable workmen who get themselves into all sorts of mechanical mayhem and are saved by their quick thinking friend; and HULLABALOO (13 x 30 minutes or 26 x 15 minutes), which uses songs, stories, dancing, mime, rhymes, puppets and animation to entertain children and introduce them to early learning themes.
Also on offer is the powerful and evocative fantasy series CREATURES FANTASTIC (13 x 30 minutes) which presents a unique view of dragons, werewolves, vampires, mermaids and a host of other legendary creatures. Through exceptional storytelling and dramatic reconstructions these compelling tales from all over the world are brought to life. From the banks of the Nile to the skyscrapers of Hong Kong, stories are told of fabulous creatures, some remote and exotic, some lurking close by!
Other titles include ANNE HOOPER’S ULTIMATE SEX GUIDE (1 x 1 hour), SISTER WENDY’S SAINTS (1 x 1 hour), YOU AND YOUR CAT/YOU AND YOUR DOG (2 x 1 hour) and DRIED FLOWERS (1 x 1 hour).
